For over 40 years the award winning Brilliant restaurant, situated in the heart of Southall, has been producing truly authentic North Indian Punjabi cuisine with a Kenyan twist and giving customers an experience nothing less than BRILLIANT!
Now in its third generation and owned by Dipna, her father Gulu and brother Shanker, the restaurant has been voted the 'Best in London Suburbs' for four years in a row from The British Curry Awards. His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales has visited the Brilliant on two occasions and the restaurant has also been part of some of Britain’s most loved TV shows including Ramsay’s Best Restaurants and Ramsay's Cook-Along not forgetting BBC 1's Royal Recipe Series.
The success of Brilliant Restaurant has been largely down to its authentic, Punjabi cuisine and the fact that most of the recipes on the menu date back to over 70 years. The menu still contains the original recipes passed on from Dipna’s Grandfather (Bishen Dass Anand) to her father Gulu and now to Dipna who inspires to be like her Grandfather and Father and keep the Brilliant name and reputation flying high. Guests that visit Brilliant become part of the Brilliant family and it is ensured when they visit they experience nothing short of Brilliance.
